HealthLink welcomes John O’Leary to board of directors

John O’Leary brings decades of experience in both the for-profit and nonprofit space

HealthLink Dental Clinic announced the election of a new member to its board of directors.

John O’Leary brings to the board decades of experience in both the for-profit and nonprofit space, spanning roles in public relations, marketing, strategic planning and business consulting. Having recently relocated to Montgomery County from Southern California, he was looking for an opportunity to get tuned in with the local community and its needs. O’Leary has served on multiple boards and committees during his career, including with Radiant Health Centers and Boston Living Center. O’Leary earned his bachelor of science in broadcast and film from Boston University.

“A person’s smile is their introduction to the world. It also can immediately pigeonhole one in terms of class and education, further stigmatizing low-income individuals,” said O’Leary. “HealthLink Dental Clinic keeps people healthy and proud. I am honored to be a part of it.”

O’Leary joins the other members of the 2021 board of directors: Rick James, Bernie Dishler, DDS, David Dotson, George Dempster, Esq., Deborah Hedrick, Michael Motte and Jo Ann Allen Nyquist.

Those interested in joining a board or committee should contact Raquel Braemer, executive director, at rbraemer@healthlinkdental.org for more information.

HealthLink Dental Clinic, located at 1775 Street Road, Southampton, provides free dental care to low-income, working adults and military veterans living in Bucks and Montgomery counties. Visit healthlinkdental.org or call 215-364-4247 for more information.
