Redeemer Health is hosting a free, open-to-the-community webinar to educate the community about how food choices can reduce the risk in developing colorectal cancer on Tuesday, March 30, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Presented by Stephanie Biggs, RD, LDN, CLT, CDCES, director of research and development at Simplex Health, and Emily Guilbert, MS, LCGC, genetic counselor at Redeemer Health Cancer Center, the webinar will educate participants on the role food plays in the prevention of colon cancer, the micronutrients associated with the prevention of colon cancer, the important role of the microbiome, and the implications of genetic testing results.
