Bensalem Police arrested 33-year-old Anthony Troupe, of Bensalem. He was charged with Involuntary Sexual Intercourse with a Child, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Corruption of Minors and related offenses. Troupe was arraigned on these charges and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $1 million bail.
The investigation started on March 16, when Bensalem detectives conducted a search warrant for child pornography at Troupe’s residence, located along the 5800 block of Bensalem Blvd. Troupe was originally charged with possessing and disseminating child pornography. His original bail was set at 10 percent of $75,000.
After Troupe’s arrest on March 16, Bensalem detectives identified two children (identities not being released) who were sexually assaulted by Troupe. Troupe was employed by the Hatboro Horsham School District at the time of his arrest, but the victims in the case are not affiliated with his position at the school. However, based on the nature of this investigation, police believe there may be more potential victims of Troupe.
