Lenape Valley Foundation to hold free virtual workshop on helping a struggling loved one

The online event is set for March 24, from noon to 1 p.m.

Lenape Valley Foundation is offering the free virtual workshop “Helping a Struggling Loved One, Accessing Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services” on Wednesday, March 24, from noon to 1 p.m., via Zoom.

This one-hour lunch and learn session will address situations when one feels that something is just “not right” with a loved one. Maybe they have depression or anxiety, they could be saying very strange things or be using drugs, but family or friends do not know where to start. This session will offer insight on how to assist in identifying when mental illness or substance use may be present and how to access treatment and other supports.

The workshop will be led by Nicole Wolf, M. Ed, director of training and education at Lenape Valley Foundation; and Ana Rosado, LSW, CAADC, clinical director at Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc.

The workshop is free but registration is required to receive the Zoom link and information. To register, visit lenapevf.org/freeworkshops. For more information on Lenape Valley Foundation and its services, visit lenapevf.org or call 215-345-5300.
