Bensalem Parks & Rec announces full-day playground program

The program runs June 28-July 29 at Bensalem Community Park

Bensalem Township Parks & Recreation is offering revamped 2021 summer programming, June 28-July 29, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. In an effort to bring back a bit of summer to youth, a full-day program will be offered at Bensalem Community Park.

It’s strictly limited to 100 participants. COVID-19 protocol plans will be in effect throughout camp to protect staff and participants. No transportation will be provided to or from the program.

Participants may not be dropped off prior to 8 a.m. and must be picked up by 5 p.m. There will be no outside trips. All activities will be on-site. This will be the only program and location offered for the 2021 season.

Those interested should call 215-633-3616 to obtain a special registration form. This program is open to Bensalem residents only. Eligible participants must be 6-12 years of age or entering first grade. In addition, those youth who have completed seventh grade are not eligible for this year’s program. Proof of residency and age will be required. You will be required to complete a COVID-19 waiver upon registration and follow all safety protocol requirements adapted for the program.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis. The program will close once total capacity has been met, regardless of registration deadlines. Cost is $525 per child.
