Deb Wright joins WW Philadelphia as general manager

Bringing over 30 years experience, she will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations

Deb Wright, who has more than 30 years of Weight Watchers experience, has joined WW Philadelphia (Weight Watchers reimagined) as general manager. WW Philadelphia has locations in Langhorne, Warminster and Newtown.

Wright will be directly responsible for the overall day-to-day operations, including overseeing locations and managing office and field personnel.

“We are thrilled and excited about having someone with her weight loss industry talent, depth and experience join our company and know she will be a strong addition and a most valued asset to our management team,” said WW Philadelphia president John Birnhak.

Prior to joining WW Philadelphia, Wright was employed for 22 years as the general manager of Weight Watchers of Arizona. She began her career at that company as a coach leading 15 weekly workshops. Following that, she served as the operations manager for the Arizona weight loss franchise operation before becoming its general manager.

Wright is a graduate of Albrook High School, located in Saginaw, Minnesota. The oldest of six siblings, she was part of a United States Air Force family whose military assignments took them to places across the United States, France and Germany. Her father served as a meteorologist for the Air Force during his service career.

She is an avid equestrian who rides, trains, breeds and shows horses. Wright also enjoys gardening. The wife and mother of three currently resides in Bala Cynwyd.
