SCORE Bucks County, in conjunction with Grow with Google, is offering a free, four-part webinar series beginning March 4.
Also in March, SCORE Bucks County certified mentor Joseph Lutes will lead a “How to Start a Nonprofit” webinar on March 9, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On March 23, SCORE mentor Don Goeltz, an associate professor at Holy Family University in the School of Business, will help would-be entrepreneurs differentiate between a good idea and a sustainable business with his webinar “Is Your Great Idea Really a Great Business?”
The Grow with Google sessions will be led by speaker Randi Penfil, who has more than 20 years of experience helping small businesses and nonprofits improve their digital marketing. The hour-long webinars begin March 4 and continue through May 12.
The first webinar “Reach Customers Online with Google” will be held March 4, at 10:30 a.m. The webinar will highlight how to: improve your website’s visibility in Google’s organic search results; introduce attendees to free tools to help your business appear online; create a free Google My Business profile; advertise your business on Google.
The following webinar “Get Your Local Business on Google Search and Maps” will be held March 24, at 1 p.m. This webinar will help attendees: create or claim a business profile on Google; manage their business information across Google search and maps; use Google My Business to connect with potential customers; learn tips, tricks and new additions.
“Using YouTube to Grow Your Business” will be held on April 13, at 9:30 a.m. This webinar will highlight best practices, including: why businesses should have a YouTube channel; how to set up a channel; what information should be filled out when uploading a video.
The final webinar “Make Better Business Decisions with Analytics” will be held on May 12, at noon. This session is focused on: identifying business goals (and how you plan to use your online presence to achieve them); incorporating data into your plan; a focus on introducing Google Analytics and how to use this tool to make better business decisions.
