Family Service Association, Novus ACS host free HIV, STI testing Feb. 11

Novus ACS will bring its Mobile Unit to Langhorne and Levittown

Family Service Association of Bucks County is hosting free, confidential HIV and STI testing in partnership with Novus ACS on Thursday, Feb. 11.

Novus ACS will bring its Mobile Unit to Family Service’s main office at 4 Cornerstone Drive in Langhorne. The testing event will take place from 10 a.m to noon at this location. From there, it will move to Family Service’s Emergency Homeless Shelter at 7 Library Way, Levittown, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Testing slots are limited. To reserve a spot, individuals must register at novusacs.com/showyourlove. All testing is free and completely confidential. COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed and all participants must wear masks.

Family Service is excited to partner with Novus ACS in the effort to increase awareness around the importance of testing for HIV and STIs. Early knowledge of one’s status is the first step toward getting connected to prevention services such as PrEP if negative or treatment if positive for HIV or other STIs. Family Service and Novus are ready to assist anyone who tests HIV positive by quickly linking them to care options.

“We hope many people take advantage of this empowering opportunity to make a difference in their health, as well as those they care about,” said Dr. Gita Krull-Aquilla, HIV/AIDS program director at Family Service.
