Keeping track of deed records

The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office asks that, when submitting documents through the mail, people should include an email address

Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Robin Robinson is updating constituents on receiving recorded documents in a timely manner.

The office asks that, when submitting documents through the mail, people should include an email address. This will ensure you receive an invoice detailing the recording information, such as date recorded, and fees paid. This email will be added to the office’s email list, so you receive office updates and a bi-monthly newsletter.

Along with documents mailed directly to the office, staff continues to record documents received electronically. The recording staff processes all documents on a daily basis during normal hours, which are Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Almost all documents in the office, going back to 1684, are public record and can be viewed by visiting Landex.com and selecting Webstore. There is a small fee to purchase any document on Landex. For further assistance with this website, call Landex at 800-370-2836.

Robinson said, “It has been brought to my attention that title companies and law offices have not been receiving their original documents back in a timely manner. I want to assure everyone that my staff has been working hard to make certain that documents are recorded and sent back in the appropriate time frame, and that with ongoing delays with the postal service that time frame may be longer than normal.”
