During the reorganization meeting of the Middletown Township board of supervisors held on Monday, Jan. 2, supervisor Tom Tosti was appointed to lead the board as chairperson in 2021. Tosti returns to the leadership role having served previously as chairperson in 2019.
“I am excited to return as chairperson in 2021,” Tosti said. “I look forward to continuing the great work we do for the community.”
Tosti was also recently appointed as chairman of the Bucks County Planning Commission for 2021.
Elected in 2019, supervisor Anna Payne will serve as vice chairperson and supervisor Dawn Quirple will serve as secretary to the board of supervisors.
During the meeting, several residents were appointed to serve on advisory boards and committees. The 2021 board of supervisors meeting schedule was also approved. Supervisor Mike Ksiazek was thanked for his leadership as chairperson of the board of supervisors in 2020.
“There is an incredible amount of coordination and collaboration that goes on behind the scenes,” said supervisor Amy Strouse. “What Mike was able to accomplish as board chair allowed us not only to survive, but thrive. Middletown was lucky to have you.”
“Looking back, it was an incredible, positive year for Middletown Township,” said Ksiazek. “I’ve never been prouder of the township than I was this year.”
