‘Positive Dialogue’ series addresses healthy living, HIV prevention

The first session will be shared Jan. 26 on Facebook and YouTube

Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center and FACT Bucks County (Fighting AIDS Continuously Together) are partnering to present “Positive Dialogue,” a series of online conversations about HIV prevention and healthy living for people who are HIV positive.

The first session will be shared on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 3 p.m., via the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center Facebook page and the FACT Bucks County YouTube channel.

FACT Bucks County vice president David Witchell will moderate an hour-long conversation with three panelists: Clinical Therapist Dinnette Medina; Rider University Associate Dean of Campus Life Nick Barbati; and Bucks County resident Kevin Gilmore.

The topic of the first conversation will center around HIV and COVID-19. Panelists will discuss how to access local support services, including HIV case management, mental health and testing. Links to these resources will be provided after the session.

This community outreach initiative will provide facts and information and give individuals at-risk or living with HIV the tools to make educated choices for self-improvement and tools to stay healthy.
