Fallsington Library is currently open for curbside pickup only, for the safety of patrons and staff. Place your holds online or call 215-295-4449 during open hours, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 2 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, from 2 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Staff will assist. If you’d like to know what’s on the “new” shelves, just call.
Elf Workshop Grab & Go Kit: Be Santa’s helper as you make ornaments and cards to give to those who’ve helped you throughout the year, including friends, family and neighbors. Make a card or ornament for a veteran, police officer, nursing home resident or worker. Drop those off in the Library Book Return (at the bottom of the ramp) by Tuesday, Dec. 22, and staff will deliver them. Kits include supplies to make two ornaments and five paper-cut-out cards, plus a jingle bell bracelet. Free, for all ages. While supplies last (staff has made 100 kits). Kids will need an adult elf’s help with the projects. For curbside pickup, call when you’re outside and staff will run your kits out to your trunk.
Sock Drive: Give the gift of warmth this holiday season. The library is collecting new, warm socks for veterans and nursing home/assisted living center residents. Drop off socks in the Book Return by Tuesday, Dec. 22, and staff will deliver them.
Annual Fund Drive Appeal: The library is seeking donations from community members to help it continue its traditions and ongoing missions. Contributions are tax deductible and support the public library.
Register Receipt Fundraiser: Bring in your register recipients from McCaffrey’s Food Markets or Brown Family ShopRite (Oxford Valley Road in Fairless Hills). Drop them into the jar at the library desk. The grocery stores will provide the library with a percentage of what you spend.
Elementary Learning eResources: Power Kids Library offers resources like TrueFlix, BookFlix and Gale Elementary.
