St. Mary Physicians Group recently welcomed board-certified endocrinologist Svetlana V. Shifrin-Douglas, MD, to St. Mary Endocrinology.
Shifrin-Douglas earned her medical degree from the State Medical Institute of Khabarovsk in Russia. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, and a fellowship in endocrinology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey. She is fluent in English and Russian.
Shifrin-Douglas specializes in treatments and procedures related to endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, including thyroid cancer and other thyroid diseases. She sees patients at St. Mary Endocrinology, 178 W. Street Road, Feasterville.
