On Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m., Cairn University’s Department of Counseling and Psychology will host the free webinar “Psychological Safety, Health and Wellness in the Age of COVID-19.”
There’s the saying that, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” And yet, in the age of COVID-19 and against the backdrop of racial/social unrest, it can feel tougher and tougher to get up and keep going. Coming through what has been a particularly trying year, and with the end of the year and holiday season ahead, we can feel especially depleted. But what if the way forward is slowing down and making time to rest and connect with the important people in your life?
In the webinar, Kim Jetter, LPC, will discuss ways to attend to psychological safety, health and wellness. Jetter will speak with her knowledge of traumatology and attachment-based therapies in work with individuals, couples and families. In addition to teaching at Cairn, she maintains a private counseling practice. Learn more and register here.
