Power of Blue is helping make children’s dreams come true

Teen volunteers, both locally and nationally, from the Power of Blue, are selling masks to help make dreams come true.

Founded by 15-year-old Annie Nathan, Power of Blue is a nonprofit organization that seeks to bring like-minded teens together who want to get involved and make a difference. For the month of November, all masks and merchandise profits will be donated to the Sunshine Foundation.

“We are so glad to support the Sunshine Foundation,” said Nathan. “I started Power of Blue right after we all became quarantined to our homes from the coronavirus. I could not imagine being a child in a home where food, love and safety were not available to me. I wanted to come up with a way to raise money for children in need and after a few weeks of research, I found a way to make fun masks to raise the funds.”

Money raised will help answer the dreams of children living with lifelong chronic illnesses, physical challenges and trauma from abuse.
