Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-1st dist.) congratulated local businesses for being recognized through the Department of Labor’s Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Medallion Program. Established by the HIRE Vets Act of 2017, the HIRE Vets Medallion Program is the only federal program that recognizes and honors job creators for their investments in recruiting, employing and retaining the nation’s veterans.

They are the product of rigorous training, an ironclad commitment to teamwork and the remarkable ability to succeed where others might fail. Veterans not only fight for and protect this country but are trained with the skills and leadership qualities that are needed to own and operate successful businesses. These businesses recognized by the HIRE Vets Program are incredible job creators.”
