Cairn University’s School of Music is presenting Virtual Music Day. This year, the School of Music has combined its annual Piano, Strings and Woodwinds and Brass Days into one collective music event, held via live stream on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to noon.
For musicians in grades 7-12, as well as their teachers, Virtual Music Day will offer instruction on making and teaching music in the COVID-19 era. Participants will also receive instruction in instrument-specific master classes from Kenneth Borrmann (piano), Natalie Rudoi-DaSilva (strings) and Meghan Carroll (woodwinds and brass).
Additionally, those who register will have access to an exclusive Zoom Q&A with Hugh Sung from Cunningham Piano on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 8 p.m.
