Lenape Valley Foundation is offering a free virtual workshop focused on educating caregivers about issues related to the struggle to focus and ADHD in children and teens. The workshop will take place Thursday, Dec. 3, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.
Facilitated by Alison Blum, a licensed marriage and family therapist at LVF with extensive experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and their families, the workshop will provide information about ADHD diagnosis and treatment, as well as how it affects performance in school and at home. It will also focus on the challenges presented by virtual school. During the 90-minute session, presentations will also be offered by LVF staff members Alexandra Pattison, an outpatient therapist, and Umadevi Nuthi, MD, a board certified child and adolescent psychiatry specialist.
The workshop is free, but registration is required to receive the Zoom link and information. To register, visit lenapevf.org/freeworkshops. For more information on Lenape Valley Foundation and its services, visit lenapevf.org or call 215-345-5300.
