During the shoot for Tick Tick…Boom! in New York City on Tuesday, Oct. 28, director Lin Manuel Miranda (Hamilton mastermind) stopped for a masked photo opp with long-time friends – Bucks County Playhouse artist associate Anna Louizos (left) and Tony-winning executive producer Robyn Goodman.
Louizos and Goodman play Jonathan Larson’s neighbors in two scenes of the film. While they have no lines, it was a fun experience.
“We did it with nostalgic feelings about doing the show off-Broadway, and because we love Lin,” said Goodman.
The three have been long associated as Goodman produced In the Heights and Louizos did the set design. The connection to Tick Tick…Boom! is sentimental, as well. Goodman worked with Larson, who wrote the original musical Tick Tick…Boom! and she took him to see La Boheme at the Met when he was writing Rent.
