Middletown Township is hosting a free Drive-thru Trick-or-Treat Extravaganza to safely celebrate Halloween. Dress up in costume, decorate your car and join the fun.
Middletown Township Parks & Recreation, joined by the Police Department, Fire Marshal’s Office, and local businesses and organizations, will give out treats for children along the route as parents drive them around the Municipal Center. There will be surprises along the way.
Chick-fil-A will give out treats and sell their original sandwich for a quick, drive-by supper.
Organizations and businesses are invited to join and give out treats. Use this opportunity to promote your business and show your community spirit. If your schedule doesn’t allow you to come, the township can give out the treats for you.
There will also be a Jack-O-Lantern contest. Bring your Jack-O-Lantern to the Municipal Center on Wednesday, Oct. 28. “Jester,” the Middletown Township Police Dog, will choose the winner, who will receive a $25 Visa gift card. Jack-O-Lanterns will be on display in the pumpkin patch the evening of Oct. 29. You can pick it up the next day so it’s ready for Halloween on Saturday.
