Round up the family, bring your blanket/towel to sit on and head outdoors for Meet Me at the Park – an interactive family event hosted by Bensalem Township Parks and Recreation in collaboration with the Bucks County Dance Center.
This program will be instructed by Sandy Henriques at Firefighters Park, and is devoted to promoting family bonding, toddler and child development and healthy living through music, movement, storytime, family fitness, morning stretches, dance parties and crafts. All family members will be encouraged to participate.
In complying with CDC guidelines, adults are asked to maintain six feet of distance from other participants. Masks are required for anyone over the age of 2. All classes will be held outdoors and CDC protocols will be followed. Anyone who feels sick, or has come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, should refrain from attending any MMATP events. This event will have a limited enrollment (one slot per family).

– Storytime on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m. – story, music, movement and craft
– Fun & Fitness on Friday, Oct. 2, at 4 p.m. – movement, stretch and dance party
– Morning Stretch on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 9 a.m. – movement, yoga and storytime
– Storytime on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. – story, music, movement and craft
– Fun & Fitness on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 1 p.m. – movement, stretch and dance party
– Storytime on Friday, Oct. 16, at 4 p.m. – story, music, movement and craft
– Fun & Fitness on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. – movement, stretch and dance party
– Morning Stretch on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 9 a.m. – movement, yoga and storytime
– Storytime on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 1 p.m. – story, music, movement and craft
– Fun & Fitness on Friday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m. – movement, stretch and dance party
– Halloween Storytime on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 11 a.m. – music, movement and craft, costume-wearing optional
All classes are held outside weather permitting.
Pay by class ($10 for families with one child, $15 for families with two or more children). Payments can be made through venmo@buckscountydancecenter, check or cash. All payments, including Venmo payments, should be made on the day of the event. Those paying by check should make all checks payable to Sandy Henriques. Cash payments must be for the exact amount.
