Fitzpatrick, Finello to participate in 1st District forum

The League of Women Voters of Bucks County and the Bucks County Chambers of Commerce will co-host this virtual event on Oct. 12

The League of Women Voters of Bucks County and the Bucks County Chambers of Commerce will again co-host Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District Candidates Forum. Forum guests will be Republican U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick and Democratic challenger Christina Finello. Although the public will not be able to attend, the forum will be viewable on cable and streaming on Monday, Oct. 12, at 8 a.m., and will be available to watch afterward.

The public is invited to submit questions appropriate for both candidates to bit.ly/2020_Congressional_Forum by Oct. 2. Questions will be reviewed and topics that are most frequently asked and will help voters differentiate the candidates.

Several candidate forums featuring candidates for state legislative districts in Bucks County are close to being finalized. Videos of those forums will be released on the league’s Facebook page on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
