U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick’s campaign released its first television advertisement of the general election.

The 30-second ad highlights Fitzpatrick’s support from union workers, small business owners, first responders, environmental activists, anti-gun violence advocates and people of all political ideologies.

“He’s the strong, independent voice we need,” his mom, Mary, said at the end.

Fitzpatrick, a Republican, faces Democrat Christina Finello.
