Summer may be coming to a close, but the fun doesn’t have to end. After positive feedback from its Rec-tivity bags during the summer months, Middletown Township is offering Recess Rec-tivity bags, which can be used for a fun break during the school day or a weekend activity.
The first bag will be a string backpack filled with art supplies to keep kids going over four weeks, as well as crafts, activities, a recipe and kitchen tool. Paper shopping bags will follow for additional weeks with lots of things to do.
Purchase all four weeks at a discounted price of $90 or purchase single weeks at $25 per week. The weeks start Sept. 14 and continue every other week. The bags will be dropped off no later than noon on Mondays, Sept. 14 and 28, and Oct. 13 and 28. No matter when you start, the backpack of supplies and fun will be your first one.
