Each of the lessons are developed with the PA Standard Aligned System in mind and ensure that children will excel in all settings. Cost for Friends of SLNC Members is $100 for the six-week session, or $20 per class on a class-by-class basis. Cost for non-members is $120 for the six-week session, or $25 per class on a class-by-class basis. Contact Kassandra Archer at 267-880-5024 or kaarcher@buckscounty.org with questions. Afterschool Nature Classes Six-Week Series for Fall takes place Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 3 to 5 p.m. There will be three different classes per week – sign up for one day or all three. Monday sessions will run from Sept. 21 through Nov. 2 (skipping Sept. 28); Tuesday sessions will run from Sept. 22 through Oct. 27; and Thursday sessions will run from Sept. 24 through Oct. 29. For those looking to keep their children (ages 5-14) active and entertained after their virtual school day, these Nature Classes aim to allow kids to socialize in a safe way while exploring the outdoors (and using that pent up energy that’s been building up all day). The program is drop-off only, and is run by SLNC Environmental Educators. Parents are not required to stay on site, but are welcome to hike the trails on their own during this time. Cost for Friends of SLNC Members is $100 for one six-week session. Cost for non-members is $120 for one six-week session. Contact Kassandra Archer at 267-880-5024 or kaarcher@buckscounty.org with questions. Register online.
