Bensalem Township Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo announced the cancelation of the 2020 Penn Community Bank Amphitheater Concerts. He said the decision was difficult. The team monitored Gov. Tom Wolf’s COVID-19 Phased Reopening Plan carefully, and hoped they could open at full capacity with no restrictions.
However, because the less-restrictive “green phase” still has restrictions, it’s not possible to reopen the outdoor entertainment complex that holds close to 2,000 people. This is in the best interest of the health of fans, crew and talent. After 20 summers of entertainment, the amphitheater will remain closed. DiGirolamo said he hopes 2021 will bring normalcy, and the township can bring back the tribute band experience the community has come to know and love.
Season pass holders have two options: If you wish to retain your season pass for the 2021 season, it will be valid; or you can request a refund.
