LBBA & community members needed TODAY to prepare Mayor’s Playground for opening

Volunteers are needed from 4 to 7 p.m.

Langhorne Borough is preparing to get its Mayor’s Playground open, but first needs to address the safety and maintenance. Normally, community service volunteers assist the Rec Board, but this was not possible due to social distancing restrictions.

The Langhorne Borough Business Association is asking members and residents to donate some time and energy to help spread playground mulch. Volunteers can give as little time or as much as they can TODAY, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Bring your own shovel/rake, wheelbarrow or large bucket. If you’re not able to physically volunteer, the lending of a wheelbarrow or equipment is appreciated. The LBBA will supply water for volunteers.

Send an email to Kari@will.travel or call 215-919-6808 with your contact number if you are able to volunteer. The contact number is needed if plans change or the weather does not cooperate. Volunteers do not need to stay all three hours.

The playground is located at 180 Cherry St., Langhorne.
