Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic hospitals in PA implementing enhanced visitor restrictions

Restrictions include no inpatient visitors

The COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, and the Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic team said it’s tracking the developments very closely. As such, THMA hospitals in Pennsylvania are temporarily restricting patient visitation.

The enhanced visitor restrictions include: no inpatient visitors; clinically approved exceptions may be made to visit end-of-life or maternity patients; all applicable visitors must report to the main entrance of the hospital for screening; once a visitor is approved, he or she will receive a visitor badge, which must be worn during the duration of the visit.

The affected hospitals include: St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne; Mercy Catholic Medical Center – Mercy Fitzgerald Campus in Darby; Mercy Catholic Medical Center – Mercy Philadelphia Campus in West Philadelphia; and Nazareth Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia.

At this time, this policy does not include Saint Francis Healthcare in Wilmington, Delaware.
