Feasterville Rotary postpones pancake breakfast

The fundraising event for college scholarships, originally set for April 5, is being pushed back due to coronavirus concerns

The Rotary Club of Feasterville has postponed its college scholarship fundraising pancake breakfast, scheduled for Sunday, April 5, from 8 a.m. to noon, at Twining Hall, 4900 Street Road, Trevose, because of concerns about the spread of the coronavirus.

Gail Chamberlain, president of the Feasterville Rotary, said a new date for the annual charity event will be forthcoming in the near future once things are more certain and settled concerning this important community health issue.

The event raises funds for the Elizabeth Moyer Scholarship Fund. Every year, the Feasterville Rotary awards two or three $1,200 college scholarships to qualified high school seniors through the fund based on academic achievement, community service and financial need.
