On Saturday, April 25, Cairn University is hosting its annual Cairn Cares 5K: Helping Mothers Who Choose Life. All proceeds from the run will be used to support the ChoiceOne and AlphaCare pregnancy resource centers and Cairn’s New Horizons Scholarship Fund – an initiative to provide support to new mothers served by crisis pregnancy centers.
Registration is open to all for the 5K run, one-mile walk, or the Virtual 5K, which can be completed anytime over the weekend of Thursday, April 23-Sunday, April 26. After the race, participants are invited to enjoy free family activities such as bouncy-houses, face painting and kids races on campus.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the university, 200 Manor Ave., Langhorne. Cost is $30 for adults; $15 for students; free for children 12 and under.
