The Cairn Opera Theater is presenting three showings of Little Women: The Broadway Musical on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25.
The performance celebrates the 15th anniversary of the musical and the 150th anniversary of Louisa May Alcott’s famous book. Recently portrayed in a major motion picture, this timeless novel follows the four March sisters in Civil War-era New Hampshire. The audience watches Jo, Meg, Amy and Beth as they grow and mature, nurtured by their mother Marmee, while their father is away serving as an Army chaplain. This musical adaptation is written by Jason Howland, Mindi Dickstein and Allan Knee.
Showings are on Friday, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., at Chatlos Chapel, on the Cairn University campus, located at 200 Manor Ave., Langhorne. Cost for admission is $15 for adults; $10 for students, seniors and groups of eight or more.
