Lower Southampton Township recently announced a new policy and rate changes for the Dolphin Swim Club, located at 260 W. Bristol Road, Feasterville, for the 2020 season.

In making the announcement, Matt Gilbert, director of Parks and Recreation, said that all families, individuals and seniors 60-years or above will be required to buy season passes for the 2020 swim season.

“The passes include membership for up to five family members,” Gilbert stated. “However, the new policy allows season pass holders to bring as many guests as they wish throughout the season as long as they are there in person to admit them. The additional guests will be charged a special admission rate for adults and children.”

Residents of Lower Southampton Township (verification of residency will be required) can purchase a season pass for a family for $562. An individual membership for the session will cost $351 and senior membership will be $241.

A non-resident rate for families will be $756, individual non-residents will be charged $465 and seniors who are not Lower Southampton Township residents will be charged $265 for the season.

A $20 discount for all programs will be in effect until March 2. Additional guests will cost $15 per person for adults and $10 per child under 12 years of age. Children under 3 years are free and a special twilight admission, from 5 to 8 p.m., will be available for adult and child guests at $7 per person.

In addition, Gilbert noted that he’s getting ready to host a wonderful summer session for swimming enthusiasts of all ages.

“Our L-shaped pool, heated adult pool and baby pool for youngsters up to five years of age will be in excellent condition and ready to go for the 2020 season,” he said.

All pools will be supervised and life-guarded. Parking is free. A special End of Summer Back to School movie night with complimentary popcorn will be held on Aug. 21 for all season pass holders.

“I’d like to invite all interested area residents to join us this season, but please do not wait too long because space is limited,” Gilbert said.

Deadline for the first registration is March 31.

The Dolphin Swim Club will open on May 23 and run weekends only until June 16, when it will swing into full operation seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., through Labor Day. The club will also be available on weekends to groups for special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.

The Dolphin Swim Club is owned and operated by Lower Southampton Township under the aegis of the Lower Southampton Parks and Recreation Department. Lower Southampton Township is located at 1500 Desire Ave., Feasterville. For additional information and to receive an application for season passes, call 215-357-7300, Ext. 340.
