Martha Washington Garden Club Meeting: “Deer Proof Your Landscape with Native Plants,” by forestry specialist Andrew Rohrbaugh, is the featured program at 1 p.m. at the Lower Bucks Masonic Hall, 1600 Edgewood Road, Yardley. The meeting takes place prior at 12:30 p.m. Guests welcome. There is a $5 guest fee at the door, or join for $30 for the year with free admission to most events.

Tinker Wednesdays: Southampton Free Library, at 947 Street Road, Southampton, will host this event at 4:30 p.m. The idea is for the children to play, create and tinker with various items in order to become more comfortable with basic concepts of coding. The Tinkering Kit consists of Ozobots, Beebots, Bloxels, Chromebooks and more. Each week, the library will highlight a new item from the kit. Best for elementary school-aged children. Cat Adoption: Come meet the furry love of your life at the Cat Tales Adoption Center, at the Warrington Pavilion Shopping Center, 1111 Easton Road, Suite 17 (next door to Animal Lifeline Thrift Store), in Warrington. American Sign Language Class: This course takes place Saturdays at 11 a.m., through April 4, at Southampton Free Library, 947 Street Road, Southampton. Open to ages 13 and up. Course is taught by full deaf instructor Tammy Carpenter. Register at southamptonfreelibrary.org or 215-322-1415.

Artistry in Wood Show and Competition: The Pennsylvania Delaware Valley Woodcarvers will host this annual show through March 1 at Bucks County Technical High School, 610 Wistar Road, Fairless Hills, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., both days. Magic: the Gathering: Comic Archive, 319 W. Main St. in Lansdale, hosts this event at 2 p.m. This classic family-friendly card game enhances strategic thinking and skills while teaching good sportsmanship. Admission is free. Toddler Time Program: This event will be held at Barn Nature Center, 1283 Almshouse Road in Doylestown, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Toddler Time programs are a parent and child experience that includes crafts, songs, music, books, activities and animals to help develop your child’s sense of adventure and imagination as well as appreciation for the world around them.
