Arrest for burglary of Fun Center Sports Shop

Stolen merchandise and building damage is estimated to be over $100,000

Today, at 2:08 a.m., Bensalem Police responded to the Fun Center Sports Shop, located at 2639 Bristol Pike, for an alarm activation. Responding officers observed fresh damage to the exterior doors and building. It was determined that a vehicle crashed through the doors to make entry. This caused extensive damage to the doors and building. A side view mirror to a U-Haul truck was found at the scene.

Laboy-Rivera

Once inside the building, the suspects removed at least seven high end Yamaha and Kawasaki dirt bike style motorcycles. Each one had an estimated value of $10,000. The stolen merchandise and building damage is estimated to be over $100,000.

Perez-Maldonado

Officers searched the area and located a U-Haul in the area with a missing side view mirror and front end damage. Officers stopped the vehicle and detained four subjects (three adult males and one juvenile male). All suspects reside in the City of Philadelphia and were identified as: a 16-year-old juvenile (no identifying information being released), 18-year-old Thomas Dennis, 25-year-old Joshua Laboy-Rivera, and 18-year-old Heyzer Perez-Maldonado.

All adult suspects are being charged with burglary and related offenses and were arraigned at 1:30 p.m. by District Judge Joseph Falcone.
