Creating Your Own Podcast: Bristol Pod Works’ Ronnie Palmieri will present Creating Your Own Podcast at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St., Bristol, at 6:30 p.m. He will share how some famous podcasts got their start, the fundamentals of creating your own podcast voice, recording and editing tips and tricks, and more. Financial Aid Information Night: Learn about the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and scholarship opportunities during this free event at Bucks County Community College, set for 6:30 p.m. in the Linksz Pavilion on the Newtown campus, 275 Swamp Road. Tinker Wednesdays: Southampton Free Library, at 947 Street Road, Southampton, will host this event on Wednesdays through Feb. 26, at 4:30 p.m. The idea is for the children to play, create and tinker with various items in order to become more comfortable with basic concepts of coding. The Tinkering Kit consists of Ozobots, Beebots, Bloxels, Chromebooks and more. Each week, the library will highlight a new item from the kit. Best for elementary school-aged children. Cat Adoption: Come meet the furry love of your life at the Cat Tales Adoption Center, at the Warrington Pavilion Shopping Center, 1111 Easton Road, Suite 17 (next door to Animal Lifeline Thrift Store), in Warrington. Craft Supply Swap: The third annual event at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St., Bristol, takes place at 10:30 a.m. (10 a.m. for those who donate craft supplies on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m., or Friday, Feb. 21, from 1 to 4 p.m.). The Life and Times of Louis Armstrong: Friends of the Levittown Library is sponsoring this event at the Levittown Library, 7311 New Falls Road, at 1 p.m. Local entertainer Bob Stankard brings Louis Armstrong to life as he sings and plays the trumpet, and delivers an informational narrative of Armstrong’s life with a multi-media show. Magic: the Gathering: Comic Archive, 319 W. Main St. in Lansdale, hosts this event at 2 p.m. This classic family-friendly card game enhances strategic thinking and skills while teaching good sportsmanship. Admission is free.
