HealthLink Dental Clinic recently announced the addition of Jenny Salisbury as the major gifts officer at the free dental clinic for low-income, working adults and military veterans, located in Southampton. This newly-created position is in response to the organization’s commitment to the Bucks and Montgomery county communities and the growing need for funding to sustain and expand the services offered.
“I am excited to welcome Jenny to the team at HealthLink,” said executive director Raquel Braemer. “The access to dental care for low-income individuals is extremely limited and the need for our services continues to grow. Jenny is excited to promote our mission to the broader community and we welcome her experience as she helps to strengthen our outreach and engagement efforts.”
Prior to joining the team at HealthLink, Salisbury most recently served as the director of the Bucks County Community College Foundation. Additionally, she has served in leadership roles at A Woman’s Place and the Bucks County Playhouse. Committed to helping strengthen her community, she also volunteers. Salisbury serves as a co-chair for the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Committee and provides leadership for the #GivingTuesdayBucks initiative.
She earned her bachelor of art degree in corporate communications from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. She is a certified fundraising executive and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, which advances philanthropy through education and advocacy.
HealthLink Dental Clinic opened in 2001 and has provided no-cost oral health care to nearly 24,000 underserved adults. The dental services provided include exams, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, extractions, root canals and crowns. The clinic’s staff, along with a number of dedicated volunteer dental professionals, also provide oral health education and screenings for high blood pressure and diabetes.
HealthLink Dental Clinic is funded entirely by charitable contributions from the community. Donations go directly to the provision of much-needed oral health care for neighbors in need living in Bucks County and Montgomery County.
