Tinker Wednesdays: Southampton Free Library, at 947 Street Road, Southampton, will host this event on Wednesdays through Feb. 26, at 4:30 p.m. The idea is for the children to play, create and tinker with various items in order to become more comfortable with basic concepts of coding. The Tinkering Kit consists of Ozobots, Beebots, Bloxels, Chromebooks and more. Each week, the library will highlight a new item from the kit. Best for elementary school-aged children. School Holiday Camp: Bucks County Audubon Society offers sessions for ages 4-10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy hiking, live animals, stories, crafts, science experiments and hands-on natural discoveries. “Winter Science of the Season” is the theme for this date. Cost is $45 a day for Bucks Audubon members, and $60 a day for non-members. Bucks Audubon is located at 2877 Creamery Road, New Hope. Adult Sensory Storytime: This takes place at Southampton Free Library, 947 Street Road, Southampton, at 10:30 a.m. Join for stories and a fun craft on the second Thursday of the month. This program is for adults with varying abilities. Register at  southamptonfreelibrary.org.

Book Discussion Group: The next title on the table for the Bucks County Community College Book Discussion Group is Stoner by John Williams. Conductor Training Program: This course, offered at Bucks County Community College’s Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks, 1304 Veterans Highway, Bristol, meets on 11 Saturdays, now through May 2 (no class April 11), from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuition is $999. The 65-hour introductory course prepares students to apply for a training program to become an engineer or conductor on a freight or passenger rail line.
