The Bensalem High School Drama Club is presenting Damn Yankees at Bensalem High School Auditorium, 4319 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem.
Shows are Thursday, Feb. 20, Friday, Feb. 21 and Saturday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. There is also a Saturday matinee at 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 for the evening shows, $5 for the matinee.
This musical comedy contemplates the difficulties that occur when you trade your soul to the devil to get your wish. Damn Yankees tells how middle-aged Joe Boyd, a perpetually frustrated fan of the Washington Senators, makes a pact with the devil to ensure victory over the Yankees in the pennant race – a feeling many can well understand.
