Do you want to know more about Pennsylvania’s historic treasures? The public is invited to take a photographic journey along the Delaware Canal with the Friends of the Delaware Canal in partnership with the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library.
The event, “Canal Times: Delaware Canal Photos – Old & New” is Thursday, April 16 at 6 p.m., at the library, 680 Radcliffe St., Bristol. Susan Taylor, executive director of the Friends of the Delaware Canal, will present a fascinating mix of images that take in the canal’s length from Easton to Bristol.
View exceptional nature and landscape photos taken by FODC members Carole Mebus and Judy Greger; see pictures from the canal’s past, some recently discovered; and learn what has been happening in and along the canal during the past year.
