Real Estate Series Workshop #1 Homebuying A to Z: The Township Library of Lower Southampton, at 1983 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville, will host this event at 7 p.m. The mission of this workshop is to break down the process of buying a home into smaller, realistic steps, and help you understand what’s involved, how to put an action plan together, and provide you with actionable tips and tricks to get you excited about the prospect of owning your own home. Free Narcan Session: A free community session on Narcan will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Conference Room A, 380 N. Oxford Valley Road, Langhorne. Snow date is Thursday, Jan. 30. Learn about the signs and symptoms of an overdose, resources that are available in the community and how to use Narcan. Sewing Stitches and Buttons: The public is invited to Sewing Stitches and Buttons: a How-to at 1:30 p.m. at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St., Bristol. Snow date is Feb. 1. This hands-on workshop will include instruction on five different hand sewn stitches and attaching buttons. Sewing needles, thread, practice fabric swatches and buttons are provided. Participants should bring a thimble, or quilting thimble, and a small pair of scissors to the class. This class is appropriate for individuals age 10 and older. Wild Animal Signs of the Woods: This event will take place at Silver Lake Nature Center, 1306 Bath Road in Bristol, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wild animals leave behind all types of signs that give us clues to their behaviors. During this expedition, participants will learn how to examine animal signs while hiking deep into the forest. All ages welcome. Magic: the Gathering: Comic Archive, 319 W. Main St. in Lansdale, hosts this event at 2 p.m. This classic family-friendly card game enhances strategic thinking and skills while teaching good sportsmanship. Admission is free. Toddler Time Program: This event will be held at Barn Nature Center, 1283 Almshouse Road in Doylestown, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Toddler Time programs are a parent and child experience that includes crafts, songs, music, books, activities and animals to help develop your child’s sense of adventure and imagination as well as appreciation for the world around them.
