The Grundy Foundation recently announced that the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Museum, 610 Radcliffe St., Bristol, was awarded a grant by the Visit Bucks County Tourism Board to enhance visitor experiences at the historic site.

The $12,500 grant is slated for purchasing museum exhibit cases, durable trunks for storing educational props integral to the forthcoming children’s tour, and the research and development of an orientation film to expand and further market the Grundy Museum’s permanent exhibit.

These funds will augment money raised by the Foundation’s CanDoMore campaign for the Grundy Museum. With the grant, the two-year CanDoMore campaign has raised 69 percent of its $50,000 goal and will continue raising funds in 2020.

For those considering donating, sponsorship opportunities are available, whereby contributors can directly sponsor purchases or have an “In Memoriam” name added. Additional information can be found on the CanDoMore page at grundyfoundation.com/content/candomore-campaign or by contacting Laura Saloiye at ls@grundylibrary.org.
