The St. Mary Medical Center Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Program will host its next bariatric surgery support group to help patients who have had the surgery meet their program goals. Each support group session features a different guest speaker on a topic specific to bariatric surgery aftercare.
“To help patients see the best results, we stay closely involved in helping them achieve their goals,” said Keith Kreitz, MD, the program’s medical director and a board-certified bariatric surgeon. “Offering a patient support group allows our patients to learn ways to adjust to their new lifestyle.”
The support group will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 6 to 7 p.m. The event will take place in The Princeton Ballroom at the Sheraton Bucks County Hotel, located at 400 N. Oxford Valley Road, Langhorne.
The bariatric support group meeting is free of charge. To find out more about the support group meetings at St. Mary, or to learn more about St. Mary’s Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Program, call 215-710-5711 or visit stmaryhealthcare.org/bariatrics
