St. Mary hosts ‘Lights of Love’

The tree lighting event honored passed loved ones

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, St. Mary Medical Center celebrated its annual “Lights of Love” event. The holiday tree-lighting event was held to honor or memorialize loved ones of donors to the Lights of Love Program.

Attendees of the event contributed $5 to place a white light on the holiday tree in honor or memory of a loved one or friend. Each honoree’s name will be inscribed on a scroll exhibited in the hospital’s main lobby during the holiday season, then in the chapel throughout 2020. The event also featured a festive holiday music performance from the Bucks County Singers.

“We are proud to host the annual tree lighting event for our community and to recognize St. Mary’s efforts to provide compassionate, skilled healthcare to those in need,” said Dr. Lawrence Brilliant, president of St. Mary Medical Center. “‘Lights of Love’ not only provides a fun and engaging way to celebrate the holidays, but also serves as a space for community members to honor those close to their hearts.”
