State Rep. John Galloway announced his Levittown office will serve as a drop-off location for this year’s Ivins Outreach Center Giving Program Toy Drive.
Now through Dec. 13, new and unwrapped toys, books, gloves, hats, scarves and local supermarket gift cards will be collected at the office during normal business hours. The collection is part of the 37-year tradition of the Ivins Outreach Center’s Giving Program, which distributes gifts and food to local families, children and disabled adults in need.
“As the holidays approach, it’s important that we remember those among us who may be in need, so I’m proud that my staff and I are able to participate in this program,” said Galloway, D-Bucks. “In 2018, through the generosity of the constituents of the 140th Legislative District, we were able to fulfill the wish lists of 912 children from 381 families. I’m always in awe of the generosity of our community and I look forward to another successful toy drive.”
Galloway’s office is at 8610 New Falls Road. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. For more information, call Galloway’s office at 215-943-7206.
