With more than 3 billion people using social media every day, there’s no denying its significance in shaping opinions on everything from the latest trends in pop culture to which businesses make the best doughnuts. Social media is where customers go to rave to their friends (and strangers alike) about exceptional customer service and products.
When done properly, social media reviews are an important online word-of-mouth referral tool to attract prospective customers. But, what about negative reviews? And how do you set up your social media accounts to request and obtain reviews?
On Dec. 13, SCORE Bucks County will offer its brand new “Setting Up, Obtaining and Managing Social Media Reviews” workshop.
Jennifer Gardella, Ph.D., a social media consultant helping business owners through monthly blogging and weekly social media support, will lead the 90-minute workshop. Her academic background prepared her well for social media marketing with extensive training in psychology and analytics. She has written and consulted with many clients on the issues of social media reviews.
At the workshop, attendees will learn how to manage the critical aspect of product/service feedback. In addition, she will share: why social media reviews are important, set up for reviews, how to obtain social media reviews and how to manage poor reviews.
This workshop is ideal for owners and business managers of business to consumer organizations who need to better understand and manage the intricacies of social media reviews.
If you go: The workshop will be held at the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce, 409 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills, on Dec. 13, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $15 and includes breakfast.
