Rep. John Galloway, D-Bucks, is holding his 13th annual senior expo, available to all constituents of the 140th Legislative District. The expo will take place Thursday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Westaby Hall, 425 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills.
The expo will feature dozens of government and nonprofit agencies and local businesses who will provide seniors with information on how they can lead healthy and productive lives. Attendees may bring unneeded or expired medications to be safely and securely disposed of.
“I’m happy to work with seniors and connect them with the resources they need,” Galloway said. “My senior expo showcases the wealth of programs and services available to older adults in our community.”
The event will also include signups for SEPTA senior passes, physical therapy screenings, door prizes and light refreshments. Flu shots will be available to those who register in advance by calling 215-943-7206.
Anyone with questions can call Galloway’s office at 215-943-7206.
