Centennial in need of volunteers

Volunteers are needed for a REAL Solutions Financial Reality Fair at William Tennent on Oct. 24

The Centennial School District is calling on the community to help educate high school students on basic budgeting and money management skills. TruMark Financial, in conjunction with William Tennent High School, will hold a REAL Solutions Financial Reality Fair at the high school, 333 Centennial Road, Warminster, on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Two hundred high school students will participate in a hands-on simulation. Budgeting skills will be learned by making financial decisions acting as independent adults. This event is supported by more than 30 community volunteers who will provide financial counseling and guide the students through the budgeting process.

To volunteer for the event, contact Dr. Albert Catarro at cataal@centennialsd.org or 215-441-6181, Ext. 11479. Volunteers will attend a pre-event information session at 8:15 a.m. at the high school.
