Playwicki hosts ‘Call to Action’ for volunteer firefighters

The Lower Southampton Fire Department is seeking volunteers for firefighting and administrative positions

The Playwicki Farm Foundation recently conducted a special “Call to Action,” seeking volunteers for firefighting and administrative positions for the Lower Southampton Fire Department. The event took place at the historic 110-acre Playwicki Farm, located at 2350 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville, as part of the final Second Friday community events program for this year.

The benefit evening also featured food trucks, a wine and beer garden, vendors and crafters, bounce houses, pumpkin painting for kids, plus a live performance by the Kirko Band.

Government officials were at the event, which was attended by several hundred local residents.
