Anil S. Deshpande, MD, and Todd Earl Nixon, MD, recently welcomed Maxim Gluhovsky, MD, to St. Mary Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery Associates. Gluhovsky is board-certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery.
After receiving his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University (New York State/American Program), Gluhovsky completed his internship in general surgery at St. Louis University Hospital Department of Surgery. His general surgery residency was completed at Michigan State University Department of Surgery, and his cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Since 2016, Gluhovsky worked at Tower Health Medical Group as an attending cardiothoracic surgeon. He is a member of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He is fluent in English, Russian and Ukranian.
Gluhovsky cares for patients facing a variety of cardiothoracic issues, while specializing in adult cardiac surgery, aortic surgery and minimally invasive cardiothoracic surgery.
