Fading Days of Summer Camp: Bucks County Audubon Society’s School Holiday Camps are geared toward ages 4-10 (with age appropriate groups and activities) and run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each session is filled with fun from hiking, live animals, stories, crafts, science experiments and hands-on natural discoveries. The fall semester’s camp dates and themes are: “Creepy Nature” on Oct. 9, “Autumnal Journeys” on Nov. 5 and “Winter is Coming” on Nov. 27. Cost is $45 a day for members and $60 a day for non-members. ‘Out in New Hope’ Celebration: New Hope Celebrates commemorates October to acknowledge National LGBTQ+ History Month and National Coming Out Day. Fall Nature Crafts: This event will take place at Silver Lake Nature Center, 1306 Bath Road in Bristol, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Participants can combine nature with art and create a work of art to take home. Marching at the Rock: Nearly 400 band members will perform from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Walt Snyder Stadium at Council Rock High School North, 62 Swamp Road, Newtown. Band members, including instrumentalists, color guard, pit and drum lines, will hail from Council Rock High School North and South, Neshaminy High School and Bensalem High School. Competing bands will be judged by professionals, and the best will be awarded. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students/seniors, and include one program book per attendee group. Band students from all Council Rock elementary and middle schools will receive free tickets and are encouraged to attend (with a paying adult chaperone) as part of their music education.

Boo & Brew 5K: The Special People In Northeast Inc. Boo & Brew 5K and 1-mile fun run/walk/roll will take place at 11 a.m. at Neshaminy State Park, 3104 State Road, Bensalem. An after party is set from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, 909 Ray Ave., Croydon. Cost for the 5K is $35, or $15 for kids ages 6-16. Cost is $50 for the 5K and after party.
